Our friendly team of hard working staff are qualified from a minimum of NVQ Level 2 right through to University Foundation Degree Level . They have a wealth of experience in childcare, including
some being mothers themselves. The staff and volunteers are chosen, not only for their vibrancy and enthusiastic nature, but also for their genuine love and understanding of children. The staff
continue to develop their training, by attending courses in paediatric first aid for babies and children, child protection, additional needs and courses connected to the Early Years Foundation.
Our aim is for the children to learn, be happy and have fun in a safe, secure and stimulating environment. We implement the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage through
planned, purposeful play and through a mix of adult-led and child-initiated activity.
In order for the children to feel settled and secure, we operate a key person system. This ensures children receive individual care and attention, from a consistent person, who they are able to
build a close relationship with. The child's key person acts as a contact for their parents or carers and are responsible for their learning journal.
